Many of Melbourne’s trams are high-floor models dating back to the 1980’s. This new tram design reflects upon the needs of 21st century Melbourne, while featuring an updated, modern, and sleek new exterior design style.

This ‘bullet tram’ concept is complemented with a new style of Passenger Information display, using colour coding and varied fonts to help emphasise route numbers, connections, and locations in a much more engaging way with dot matrix screens.
