MELBOURNE HIGH SCHOOLYear 10 CAD

Computer-Aided Design teaches students how they can use digital technologies to expand their design processes, as well as investigating how designers past and present have applied CAD techniques to create unique works of design. Students learn how to apply these skills to the field of graphic design by using software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Year 10 students apply these skills to create branding and advertising for a range of purposes and target audiences. Below, students have created promotional posters for the 2021 MHS Arts Show, as well as the 2021 MHS Winter Concert. Students have also created unique branding for their chosen client and applied to to a range of stationary including letterheads and business cards.
