MELBOURNE HIGH SCHOOLYear 9 Art

Year 9 Art covers a combination of art theory, appreciation, and art practice.  A large amount of the Year 9 work focused around the four pillar themes from the NGV Triennial: Reflection, conservation, speculation, and illumination. Students also focused on creating art responses to different artists from online exhibitions such as: Maree Clarke Ancestral Memories, We Change the World at NGV, Jose Manuel Ballester, and Surrealist Women at MoMA.
