MELBOURNE HIGH SCHOOLYear 10 Industrial Design
Industrial designers are responsible for designing products and services used by everyone in their everyday lives. They design, model, prototype, produce, and evaluate their work with the goal of creating striking, long-lasting and functional products that cater to a specific target audience.
This year, students followed the design process to create two outcomes: an underwater craft that embodies the philosophy of Biodesign and modelled using Autodesk Fusion 360, and a seating solution designed for their favourite fictional character, constructed from laser-cut balsa wood.
